We are adventurers who are passionate about the Amazon, our people and our culture.
We began our journey over 30 years ago, in 1984, when our founder immigrated from Belém to Manaus in search of new opportunities and challenges.
A skilled and experienced professional in naval engines, he soon began working at one of the largest companies in the region, Fogás. Pedro Gonçalves da Silva, proving his competence and reliability, soon became the company's trusted man in relation to the mechanics of the engines of the company's ships and transport ferries.

A long time passed and our founder felt the need to undertake a purposeful business, and in 2011, he created his own company, Amazon EcoFishing, to operate in the sport fishing and tourist transportation segment.
Since then, he has been sailing the rivers of the Amazon, building relationships of friendship and respect wherever he goes, becoming a defender of the Amazon and providing opportunities for development and income generation for riverside communities and indigenous tribes.

How can I book a tour?

To book a tour, contact us in any way: by email, by phone, or by filling out the contact form, We'll discuss the nuances and book a tour for you.

What fishing methods are included?

Fishing with Amazon Ecofishing includes spinning, fly-fishing, trolling, float gear, and some others. We can give you any equipment of your choice.

What payment options do you provide for clients?

Prepayment can be made with the use of Visa, MasterCard cards or PayPal.

Can I pay in full when I reserve a spot?

Yes, if you're sure you'll go on fishing, whatever the circumstances, you can pay in full. By default, we charge only 50% at the time of your booking.

Can I get a refund if I've changed my mind?

Yes, you can cancel the reservation no later than 30 day before the tour. If you cancel your reservation later, the refund is only 50% of the total amount.

Will you cook the fish I will catch?

No. Due to environmental and health regulations, all fish caught must be released. All food during the trip is provided by Amazon Eco Fishing.
